Well Jacob had a crappy day yesterday. The people who live across the street have their grandchildren over all of the time and the boy now rides the bus with Jacob because his grandparents babysit for them. Yesterday the boy got off the bus and started helping his sister rake leaves so Jacob went and got his rake and started raking our leaves in the front yard. He then asked the boy if he could come over and play and the boy said no! Lovely!!! Then he told the boy he would help him rake and the boy said no, again. So by now Jacob is devastated! A few minutes later the 2 of there friends from a couple doors down came over there and started playing and then another boy from the neighborhood came over. The whole time these kids are playing Jacob was sitting in the front yard in front of our tree watching them play. I finally called him inside and as soon as he stepped in he just started bawling. He just couldn't understand why that boy let all of those other kids come over but not him. He has such a hard time asking kids to play with him I hope this does not bring back that fear.
