Have I ever mentioned my bad luck with doctors? Every time I find a good doctor they leave!! I had the best doctor and she ended up moving away and she was replaced by a doctor I didn't particularly. Then we moved so I thought I would find someone close and the doctor I found was wonderful. She was so easy to talk to and had no problem spending time with us. It is so hard to find a doctor that doesn't rush you out of the room! Well we got a letter in the mail saying she is no longer practicing in the area, ugh. The good new is the other doctor in her office agreed to take her patients. I have seen her before, my doctor called her in for a second opinion once and she was very nice. It just sucks having to switch once again.
We actually just changed our health insurance to the best one Mike's company offers so it will cost more monthly but it will end up being cheaper in the long run. I didn't realize how spoiled I was with medicaid. I was so excited to have real insurance and not an HMO but I didnt realize how expensive things are. Medicaid paid for everything, prescriptions, emergency room, after hours clinics. Now we can't go to a clinic or emergency unless it is life or death. The good thing about this new insurance is we won't have a copay for regular doctor visits, just specialist. This insurance is great too they cover stuff like acupuncture, massage and we can add pet insurance which will come in handy someday because our cocker spaniel is getting old :( They even cover birthing centers and midwives :) 90% after 250.00 deductible!!! Pretty nice! I really hope when Mike and I have kids I can have them at home this time. I had a very good hospital experience but if I knew then what I know now it would have been done at home. Okay, enough about writing about that stuff, it will just make me jealous of all pregnant woman if I keep it up, lol!!
