We went to the Dr. today and he decided to not do anything about his growth which he said was a granuloma. He did cut it open because he thought it needed to be drained. I told him nothing came out of it but whatever - he did it anyway. He said it would go away on its own in 4-6 weeks. Great! Anyway an easy way of explaining a granuloma is that it is his body's way of reacting (overreacting actually) to his infection. The thing that sucks is how painful it is for him :( I just hope it goes away sooner than expected.
