Mackinac Island Trip

Finally, the pictures are done.

We had a great time, it definitely was hard with Owen, he sure is a handful!! I was really hoping to take some pics to sell on Etsy. I even rented a lens :( Good thing is I got to try the lens out - Nikon 24-70 f2.8, bad news is I am not gonna be making any money from it.

This is a funky playground in East Tawas, it is a very strange playground!!

Owen's cheesy grin, still in East Tawas.

Mike took this of the bridge on the way over to Mackinac.

Here Owen is watching the horses from the window of the Bed and Breakfast.

This is where we stayed, The Harbor View B&B.

Playing on the hill, that's Grandpa Kingsley on the right.

Mike and his Dad and the Magic Shop.

Owen with his fake teeth pacifier and his new magic wand, which he broke soon after :(
Notice the cheesy grin, again!!

Playing with rocks on the beach.

Owen & Daddy lookin cool before the wedding!!

Mike's dad did the ceremony. this is the best shot I could get with Owen on my lap.

After the ceremony

Mike's parents.

This was Owen the rest of the night!! Happy. Mad. Happy. Mad.
I only took my camera out twice and the reception both times he cried and screamed because he couldn't play with it. I even let him play for a little while while it was off but it wasn't enough for him, he wanted to run around with it.

Excuse these pics, they are all flash :P

Mike & Jeremy - the groom.

This was taken after we were back in Mackinaw City. Harbor View screwed something up with our luggage so we had to wait around a bit. We were planning on shopping in Mackinaw City but after walking around for 20 minutes we realized it is all of the same stuff so we hung out on the beach while Owen napped. The guy was really great about finding our bags, he made a million phone calls to get them to us.

We had a major traffic jam on the way home, it took us 2 extra hours to get back.

I saw this bumper sticker and had to take a pic of it.
It made us both feel a bit guilty because since we moved here we have been going to Wal-Mart WAY too much!! I am hoping that now we starting to get unpacked and settled we can start driving further to avoid wal-mart. We both hate going there, we just haven't had many choices lately.
